Detroit Public Television, University of Michigan-Dearborn, and a variety of partners engage young people in the 2008 Presidential Election with a multi-media project that gives everyone a chance to let their voice be heard.

Once the '08 Presidential election concluded MiVote focused it's attention on the Detroit City Counsel primary. With over 150 candidates MiVote was the place where visitors could watch a short video about each candidate. Serving as a place for valuable information most major new media outlets embedded the candidates videos in their site and redirected the viewers, visitors and listeners to MiVote.

MiVote continues to grow and change bringing valuable election and political information to the citizens of Michigan.

At its core, MiEarth is a video project designed to celebrate great environmental work in Michigan, educate people about what they can do, and inspire them to take action.

Ohm was presented with the challenge of creating an educational / influential site with video sharing capabilities. After imagining a clever Earth-themed design, development of this "Youtube clone" began.

The end result - over 500 videos are currently posted from over 150 members and it continues to grow everyday.

Every week, a diverse group of teens meet in secret at YouthVille Detroit. Their goal? Helping their peers to solve the science-based riddles that plague them. Each episode of Think Squad educates, entertains and inspires middle-school kids with colorful characters, cool science and the unique problems it presents, it also serves as a way to get today’s teens introduced to and engaged with exciting science and technology careers they might not have known about otherwise.

When TV reporter turned novelist Paula turned to Ohm to develop a stylized website that illustrated the books theme. Over the past several years the site has evolved with the books success and continues to grow.
